This CESD application provides a rapid screening instrument comprising 20 questions derived from a widely recognized epidemiological scale for depression assessment. While it does not deliver a clinical diagnosis, the tool can aid in identifying potential depressive symptoms through a straightforward self-assessment process. Users should consult healthcare professionals for comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis.

The application optionally transmits anonymized data to a server for research purposes. This data sharing can be disabled in the settings menu at any time.
